• 1 stick margarine, softened
• 1 C sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 C sauerkraut, drained and finely chopped
• 1 C flour
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/3 C unsweetened cocoa
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp baking soda
Cream together the margarine, sugar and egg. Stir in kraut and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients and stir into the egg mixture. Dry teaspoons full of mixture onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 7 to 10 minutes.
