What is your involvement in agriculture? I joined Benton County 4-H three years ago. We started with showing rabbits and have worked our way to raising and showing beef cattle. This will be our second year working with beef cattle. Mr. Johnny Gunsaulis helped us become a part of the Pasture to Plate Program. Now my sister and I are raising beef steers for the program. I also appreciate the help I have had from my breeder, James and Mary Ann Skelton in Springdale, Arkansas. They have sparked my interest in the Beefmaster breed. Although many people have helped us, I could never be more appreciative of the blessings that God has blessed me with through my agriculture journey.

What is your favorite part of being involved in agriculture? I most enjoy getting to take care of my animals. It is something that I am passionate about. Watching them in the field is very pleasing. Being a part of agriculture has allowed me to learn an unexpected amount of knowledge. I also enjoy making friends that are involved in Ag, like my best friends Harlee and Presley Ross.

What are your future plans? I plan to be a veterinarian in the future. Therefore, agriculture will be a big part of my career. I also hope I can work with my won cattle as well. I hope that in the future I can raise a family that can play a part in agriculture just as my family is getting to do.
