History: This business started out of necessity. We, along with other farmers and ranchers in our community, needed a place to bring our animals for processing. This also led us to open our store front. We believe our community should have access to more natural, locally sourced products. In October of 2023 we opened our wild game building and started processing deer for locals. Construction of our USDA processing facility was completed in September of 2024, along with our storefront opening a month later in October of 2024.
Products and services offered: We offer a variety of fresh locally sourced beef and pork products, along with deli sandwiches, cheese, eggs and much more. Through our USDA inspected building we offer both custom and inspected processing that included beef, buffalo, sheep, goats and pigs. We also offer custom butchery weekly for our store front customers who want custom cuts. Our wildlife building allows us to offer processing of deer, elk, mule deer, wild pigs and other exotics without the worry of cross contamination between buildings.
What are some of the most popular products: Our wildlife processing is one of the most popular services offered. People like the fact that they can rely on us to be there when they need us most. Another popular product of ours is summer sausage, people seem to love it on the wild game side. Customers also like our summer sausage that we make for the store front.
Future Plans and Business Philosophy: We plan to continue to grow by adding inspected poultry processing. Our communities’ expectations are the standard that we hold ourselves accountable to everyday.
