Ingredients:

• 3/4 C milk

• 1/4 C butter

• 1 tsp salt

• 1/4 C sugar

• 1 1/2 tsp yeast

• 1/2 C warm water 

• 1 egg, beaten

• 3 C flour

Directions:

Dissolve yeast in the warm water. Heat milk, butter and sugar. Add the yeast and water mixture, flour and egg. Allow dough to rise for 30 minutes. 

SAUCE:

Ingredients:

• 1 C brown sugar

• 1/2 C butter

• 1 tsp cinnamon

• 2 Tbsp water

• 1/3 C pecans

• 1 Tbsp corn syrup or 2 Tbsp pancake syrup

Directions:

Mix all ingredients in a sauce pan; heat until melted. Pour into a 13-by-17 cookie sheet. Stir down batter and drop spoonfuls into the sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Allow to cool one minute, then cover with another cookie sheet and carfully turn upside down.
