• 2 C whole milk

• 1/2 C sugar

• 3 Tbsp flour

• 4 egg yokes (saving whites)

Cook all until thickened. 

• 1 pint whipping cream

• 1 tsp vanilla

Add eggs, whipping ream and vanilla to cooled milk mixture. Add enough whole milk to fill ice cream freezer. Note: Momma used to add sweetened strawberries, about a pint or more, before adding milk to fill the freezer.
