History: Scott and Lisa Connell opened Mansfield Feed & Farm Supply in September 2022 to serve farmers and ranchers of their community. 

“We started the business from scratch,” Lisa explained. “We’re farmers and  we know how difficult it is to get the supplies you need.”

Products and Services: Mansfield Feed & Farm Supply carries a wide selection of livestock feed blends for all species, including products from ADM, Powell Feed and Quality Feeds, as well as horse feed from Nutrena. All feed is bagged. 

“We also offer minerals like CRYSTALYX, Stockade, mineral to help with fescue foot and others,” Lisa said.

Hay is also available, but the type and quantity is dependent on what is shipped. 

Bagged grass seed and fertilizer are also available, as are fencing supplies for permanent and electrical fencing, feed troughs, bale feeders and other items.

Being cattle producers themselves, Lisa said she and Scott know what producers need and hope to be a source for those items. 

For wildlife enthusiasts, food plot seed as well and deer supplements. 

Mansfield Feed & Farm Supply has limited selection of basic tools and other sundry items farmers and ranchers may need. 

Boots, coveralls, gloves, coats and bibs are also available. For the kids or those who are just young at heart, Mansfield Feed & Farm Supply also carries farm toys. 

Pet owners will find a large selection of products and feed, including alfalfa and Timothy hay for rabbits and hamsters.

Seasonal items include garden seed, starter plants and other gardening supplies. Mansfield Feed & Farm also holds chick and fish days, and offers rabbits in the spring. 

“We have a little of everything,” Lisa said. “We want to make sure we take care of our customers’ needs.”

If something isn’t on stock, they will order it. 

Business Philosophy: Providing a quality products and services to customers is important to Scott and Lisa, and they strive to provide the best customer service possible.

“You won’t have a business without customers, so they always come first,” Lisa said.
