• 1 Tbsp canola oil

• 1 pound hamburger

• 1 quart tomato juice or diced tomatoes

• 6 carrots, cut into 1-inch pieces

• 1 medium onion, diced

• 1 C apple juice

• 2 tsp salt

• 1 tsp pepper

Heat oil and brown hamburger, drain excess fat. Place meat and remaining ingredients in a crockpot and mix well. Cook on high for 6 to 7 hours.
