What is your involvement in agriculture?

“My family raises Scottish Highland cattle. I help feed, walk our cows at auctions and help get them halter broke.

What is your favorite part of being involved in agriculture/living on a farm?

“I love working with my cows. I also like talking with people about my cows and showing my cows to people.”

What are your future plans? Do they involve agriculture in some way?

“With my cows, I want to start showing them at fairs. Once I’m out of school and moved, I want to continue to raise cattle.”

What is the best advise you’ve received from an adult?

“My ag teacher, Clayton Tunnell, said, ‘Don’t be afraid to grab the bulls by the horns.’”
