CRUST:

• 2 C flour

• 1/2 C butter

• 1/3 C sugar

• 1/4 tsp salt

In a large bowl. Beat ingredients until mixture is coarse crumbs. Press firmly in a 9-by-13 pan, pushing some up the sides. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees or until golden brown. 

FILLING:

• 2 eggs, beaten

• 3/4 C sugar

• 3/4 C corn syrup

• 2 Tbsp melted butter

• 1 tsp vanilla 

• 1 1/4 C pecans, coarsely chopped

Mix filling ingredients, top the crust mixture. Bake for 20 minutes or until filling sets and center is slightly firm. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
