• 1 stick margarine

• 1 C water

• 4 Tbsp cocoa

In a saucepan, bring to a boil, then let mixture cool.

• 2 C flour

• 2 C sugar

• 1 tsp baking soda

• 1/4 tsp salt

Sift together and add to cooled cocoa mixture.

• 1/2 C butter milk

• 2 eggs, beaten

• 1 tsp vanilla

Add to cocoa mixture and blend well

Pour into a greased pan; bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. 

ICING

• 1 stick margarine

• 4 Tbsp cocoa

• 6 Tbsp milk

• 1 pound powdered sugar

In a saucepan, bring margarine, cocoa and milk to a boil. Remove from heat and beat in powdered sugar and spread over cooled cake.
