Ingredients:
• 1 1/4 C sugar
• 1 1/4 C M&M candies
• 2 C flour
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
Directions:
Combine flour, baking soda and baking powder. In a quart jar, layer in sugar, followed by candies and flour mixture. Press each layer firmly before adding the next layer. It will be a tight fit. Seal with lid. Decorate with ribbon or fabric and give as gifts.
TO MAKE COOKIES:
Ingredients:
• 1 stick butter or margarine, softened
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Empty cookie mix into a large bowl and mix well. Add butter, eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Shape into walnut-sized balls on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes. Cool 5 minutes before removing from cookie sheet. Note: Use read and green M&Ms for Christmas and Easter, Reese’s Pieces for Halloween.
