2 pounds ground beef

3 ounces canned sliced mushrooms

2 medium onions, chopped

1 C sour cream

1 clove garlic, minced

1/2 pound provolone cheese

14 ounces jarred spaghetti sauce

1/2 pound mozzarella cheese

16 ounces canned tomatoes

8 ounces shell macaroni


Cook ground beef until brown. Add onion, garlic, spaghetti sauce, tomatoes and drained mushrooms. Mix well and cook until soft. Cook macaroni, drain and rinse well with cold water. Pour half the shells into a deep-dish casserole; cover with half of the tomato meat sauce. Spread half of the sour cream over the top. Then top with slices of provolone cheese. Repeat the layers and end with mozzarella cheese on top. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Remove cover and bake until mozzarella melts and browns slightly.
