3 strips bacon
1/2 small onion, chopped
1 squash
2 Tbsp butter, melted
1 Tbsp sugar

Cut squash into slices and set aside. In a microwave safe bowl, cut bacon into pieces and add onion; cook for 3 minutes. Add squash to bacon and onion mixture, then pour butter over the top. Add salt and pepper, to taste, and sugar. Microwave for 15 minutes. No need to add water because the squash will make its own juice.
