History: Larson Farm and Lawn is owned by Glenn Larson. Larson owns several locations, along with the Freistatt store, Rogersville, Nixa, Harrison and West Plains, Mo. He bought the store in Freistatt (formally Schoen Equipment, operating since 1968) in 1999.
Products and Services: Bobby Chrisman, store manager of the Freistatt location since March of 2010, and has been employed by Larson since 1999, explained their product offerings, “We offer a full product line of John Deere agricultural and consumer products, Frontier, Stihl products, Roto-mix (feed mixers), Tri-L products, Westfield augers, J&M grain carts and SiTrex hay tools.” Bobby also added, “We are a full service dealership with full-on sales, service and parts on all brands.”
Problem solvers: Bruce Doss, Parts Department Manager, has been maintaining relationships with customers for 26 years at Freistatt. “Finding parts for some of the older equipment can be a challenge, but there are different alleyways, other vendors and stores that let us search their inventory for outdated or discontinued parts. Plus, John Deere gives lots of good tech support and is always on the forefront of new technology.”
