Clinton Feed and Farm Supply

Co-Owners:  James Reed
Location:  Clinton, Ark., Van Buren County

History:  James Reed became co-owner of Eoff Feed Supply in October 2010; the business became Clinton Feed and Farm Supply. “Dan and Peggy Eoff started 22 years ago with just a small feed store,” James said. “Now, the business covers 100,000 square feet of floor space, plus an outdoor display, located off Highway 65. My wife Crystal and I have run cattle for years, and she helps in the store.”

Products and Services:  “We have feed for cattle, horses, sheep, goats, chickens and hogs, in 50 pound sacks. People from six counties come here, because of the wide range of products we offer. We carry Kent Showfeeds for beef, swine, sheep and goats. Customers who raise pheasants and quail buy egg crumbles and wild bird feed. We offer a selection of non-prescription veterinarian products. We have hay and ranch equipment, from nuts and bolts to bushhog and disc mower blades and draw bars. We can meet all of your fencing needs.”

What are the future plans for the business?
“I’m expanding on horse tack and set aside a 35 by 45 foot room just to display tack for sale. I’d like to have the largest selection of bits and spurs in the state. We’re getting into special mix feed and going to expand sales to bulk sacks and by-the-truckload. I hope to eventually buy the entire feed and hardware business. Dan and Peggy’s hard work made this business, and I’m very thankful to be a partner.”
