What is your involvement in agriculture? “I serve as vice president of Agventurers 4-H group. I am also a junior board member of the Arkansas Junior Cattlemen’s Association. I help my parents on our farm where we run some stocker calves and raise and sell butcher beef. My favorite thing with the farm is going to the barn and working with my show cattle.
What is your favorite part of being involved in agriculture/living on a farm? “I love watching the animals grow. I love watching them come running up at feeding time. My favorite part of showing cattle is meeting new friends.”
What are your future plans? Do they involve agriculture in some way? “I plan to continue showing cattle until I am too old. I would also like to raise and sell chow calves someday.”
Awards: “I have received several awards over the past four years while showing cattle. Some of my favorites include being a Division Champion at the Arkansas Youth Expo for three years in a row.”
