History of the business: Elevated Show Supplies was started a couple of years ago by Ken Stricklin, in Phelps County. In 2022, Garrick Lonning had the opportunity to purchase it from Ken.
What are the products and services offered? “We offer about any product for livestock in the stock show industry. We always try to have the latest and greatest products. We are an authorized Weaver Livestock dealer along with several other companies, such as Jimmy Juice, The Green Stuff, Daily Hair Care, Chalk and Smoke, Stinger Whips, the Two Bulls De-stress and Show Fresh H2O.”
What are some of the most popular products and/or services offered? “Almost all of the products we sell are equally as popular. They are some of the best in the industry. We have a 38ft trailer, fully stocked, that we take to county fairs and jackpot shows. We even do show clinics, where we will come and talk with a 4-H group or FFA chapter about show essentials and feeding the animal properly.”
Future Plans: “As far as future plans, we plan to continue to help educate the youth about the stock show industry and grow our business while adding more county fairs and jackpots to take our trailer to so the kids have the opportunity to shop and have a supply trailer on the grounds where they are showing.”
Business Philosophy? “One thing I have always had pride in, is always being honest and upfront with people about products. I have several people that demo products for me and give me feedback and if the feedback isn’t what it should be, the product doesn’t get in the trailer. Everything I sell has been used by myself or others that have the same expectations that I do for a product.”
