History: Jarod Swartz started Swartz Tractor Sales and Service about 20 years go in Neosho, Mo.
Office manager Kay Chathers said Jarod began his own business, a body shop, when he as just 20 years old, and then moved into the tractor and implement business. She said Jarod also collected and restored antique tractors for a number of years.
Products and Services: Swartz Tractor Sales and Service is a Kioti tractor and UTV dealer, as well as a dealer for Land Pride implements, commercial and residential Exmark mowers and turf care equipment, and is a licensed Echo-product distributor. All of the equipment at Swartz Tractor Sales and Service is new with offers manufacture warranties.
“We do take in some equipment on trade, but we don’t usually a stock of them; it might be one or two here and there,” Kay, who has been with the dealership for about 10 years, said. “I think this year we’ve taken in maybe three used tractors, so not many.”
Customers looking to do pasture management, or even lawn care, can find a wide section at the Noesho, Mo., dealership.
Land Pride implement selection includes brush cutters, tillers, bale spears, pallet forks, box blades, and more. The biggest seller for Swartz Tractor Sales is Exmark zero-turn mowers.
“They are just a good, durable mower,” Kay said.
Swartz Tractor Sales and Service services what they sell, including repairs, fluid changes and warranty work.
“We service what we don’t sell as well,” Kay said. “We service equipment even if you didn’t buy something from us,” Kay said, adding that other brands are also accepted for service.
Swartz Tractor Sales and Service also offers parts for those who want to repair or service their equipment on their own.
