• 1 1/2 C brown sugar
• 6 tsp flour
• 2 egg yokes, slightly beaten
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
• 1 1/2 C milk
• 4 Tbsp peanut butter (more or less to suit your taste)
Mix sugar and flour in a double boiler. Slowly add milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens. Add egg yokes and cook for 3 minutes. Remove from heat, add peanut butter and vanilla. When cool, pour into a baked pie shell, top with whipped cream or meringue.
