• 1 angel food cake baked as directed and thoroughly cooled (or purchased).
• 1 package strawberry Jell-O
• 1 C boiling water for Jell-O
• 3/4 C cold water for Jell-O
Make the Jell-O and let it set until firm.
• 1 quart of strawberries sliced
• 2 C whipped topping
Set the whole cake on the cake plate and then slice cake to make three layers. Lay each one off as sliced in order, leaving the last layer on cake plate. When Jell-O is FIRM, scrape into a bowl and add the whipped topping using a mixer, mix thoroughly, but not runny. (There will be bits of Jell-O) Slather the bottom layer of the cake with the Jell-O-cream mixture, then top with strawberries. Do so with the next layer and then add top layer. Do it carefully as this is your masterpiece for company.
