Ingredients:

• 2 crust pie dough, prepared

• 2 C raisins

• 2 C water

• 1/2 C sugar

• 2 Tbsp flour

• 2 Tbsp lemon juice

Directions:

Bring raisins to a boil. Cook for 5 minutes. Mix flour and sugar, then add to raisins. Cook over medium heat until thick; boil and stir for 1 minute. Pour into prepared pie shell; top with crust. Brush with egg wash or milk, sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 425 degrees for 35 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. Cover edges to start and remove near the end of the baking time so they don’t get too brown.
