What is your involvement in agriculture?
“I operate a cow/calf operation of 29 dams and one sire, with eight non-breeding at the current time. I also operate and manage a custom hay business in which I transport, put up and sell hay during the summer months.”
What is your favorite part of being involved in agriculture?
“My favorite part of being in agriculture is everyday I have something new to do. There is always something to be done on the farm. I always plan to be involved in agriculture, whether that is small operations or large.”
What is the best advice you’ve received and who was it from?
“The best advice I have ever received was probably from my ag teacher, and that was to make sure to have records up to date. This has helped me make sure that everything is up to date.”
What advice do you have for other young people who want to be involved FFA or 4-H?
“Start early, and be involved. No matter how it starts, if you stick with it, it will eventually work out. Hard work pays off in the long run.”
