Just about every day of the week, you can find Justin and Sarah Bramall in the classroom sharing their deep love for agriculture. When their work is done at school, Justin and Sarah use their agricultural education to care for their own livestock.

Justin Bramall is the agriculture educator at Greenland High School, about 10 minutes from the University of Arkansas. Sarah Bramall is also an agriculture educator at the University of Arkansas. The agricultural roots run deep in their family. Justin comes from a family that owns a cow-calf operation, and Sarah’s family owns Wrights Farm show lambs.

Sarah’s path to the University Arkansas was delayed. Right after high school, she attended Hutchinson Community College, and she later transferred to the University of Arkansas, earning her degree in Agricultural Education. She began her new role as an instructor in the Department of Agriculture Education, Communication and Technology in August of 2025.

“I get to recruit for my home department,” she said, adding that this is her “dream job.

Justin’s path in the classroom started later than Sarah’s. Justin’s family owned a registered Angus cow-calf operation just on the south side of West Fork. Growing up, he was always outside, Whether hunting, fishing, or in the hay field. Justin knew he was right where he was supposed to be. He attended the University of Arkansas, where he started majoring in environmental science because he wanted to become a game warden. However, Justin enrolled in an agricultural education class and quickly found he wanted to switch majors because, he knew this is where he needed to be.

“When I started college and took an ag class, it all clicked.” said Justin.

Justin and Sarah continue their family’s love for agriculture and together, they own their lamb operation. They raise around thirty show ewes each year and have customers from across Arkansas, as well as some from Iowa.

“This year was one of our most successful years; we have sold lambs locally, across bordering states, and even in Iowa. It has been really special to get students into livestock who might not have had the chance,” said Sarah.

Justin and Sarah continue to do what they are passionate about. Whether it is raising show sheep, teaching in the classroom, or being out in the field with the cows, agriculture is deeply rooted in this family.

The Bramall’s have established a strong foundation in agriculture, intending to continue to educate others.
