Town: Fair Play, Mo.
County: Polk
Owners: John and Lachelle Clemons
History: Historically, the business known as Diamond L Tack and Feed, has been serving the Fair Play community for more than 10 years providing a local source for feed, general vet care supplies and all horse tack needs. In September 2025, John and Lachelle purchased the business and changed the name to Fair Play Feed and Farm Supply LLC.
As the new owners, John and Lachelle plan to continue to offer the same great customer service that the community expects, while also expanding their offering to include fresh grown beef from their farm, gifts and novelty items and stock show supplies.
Products and services: Fair Play Feed and Farm Supply LLC offers many types of feed and agriculture products with varieties for all farm species. They carry a wide range of dog and cat products to keep your pets fed, happy and healthy. For the horse enthusiast, they buy, sell and trade high quality horse tack and saddles. Most recently, they have added a stock show supply section featuring Sullivan Supply products. Lastly, they offer beef grown there in Fair Play from the day it was born until it was processed in a USDA inspected facility.
“We offer custom beef in halves or as a whole, or you can buy beef bundles by the pound” said Lachelle.
Popular Products: Fair Play Feed and Farm Supply LLC specializes in horse tack and saddles. What sets them apart is they are one of the only stores which offer to buy, sell and trade tack and saddles. The store carries a good variety of used tack as well as high quality new pieces.
Business Philosophy: “If the product is carried in our store, it’s because we believe in its value and we would use it for our operation.” Lachelle continued, “Agriculture is a way of life for us and so many others in our community.
The goal of Fair Play Feed & Farm Supply is to support both agriculture and the local communities. They want to bring high quality products to the store and to be involved in the community through different events and activities.
“We are passionate about agriculture and supporting our local community.” Lachelle concluded.
