In Town: Beyond my time in the barn, I’m the creative force behind Barbed Co. Photography. My services encompass livestock show photography, senior portraits, wedding photography and social media management. I’m passionate about documenting significant life events, from the competitive spirit of the show ring to the intimate joy of “I do”. My goal is to capture genuine smiles and create lasting images that clients will treasure.
In the Country: At Double Diamond Land and Cattle, we’re passionate about raising and showing Simmental and Red Angus cattle. We strategically integrate show industry genetics into our cow-calf operation, consistently enhancing the genetic value of our herd. Our focus is on producing high-quality cattle that excel both in the show ring and as productive animals in the field. We’ve successfully marketed our livestock through a combination of social media and word-of-mouth.
What do you enjoy most about being a farmer/rancher? More than anything, I value the tight-knit community agriculture has given me. Despite being a young agriculturist, I’ve learned that the strongest allies you’ll find are those closest to home. When the dust settles after a rewarding week at a cattle show, it’s the folks living just a stones throw away who offer the most profound and genuine support.
