• 2 pounds of hamburger
• 3/4 C picante sauce
• 2 eggs
• 1 1/2 C breadcrumbs
• 1/2 C grated monterey jack cheese
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, picante sauce and eggs. Mix by hand for one minute. Add breadcrumbs and mix for another minute. Place half of the meat mixture in a loaf pan, pressing evenly and making a small trough in the middle. Spread the shredded cheese in the trough. Add remaining meat and round the top. Cook for 50-60 minutes or until meat is cooked thoroughly. Sprinkle cheese on top the last 5 minutes.
