• 9×13 dish sprayed with cooking spray
• 1 loaf of cinnamon raisin bread cut into 1 inch cubes
• 1 C golden raisins
Mix well and spread in the pan
• 1 1/2 C sugar
• 1 1/2 C heavy whipping cream
• 8 eggs
• 4 C milk
• 3 tsp vanilla
Whip well and pour over the bread. Pat the bread into the mixture so it soaks up and all of the bread is wet. Place the 9×13 dish into another pan filled with 1/2 inch to 1 inch of water. Place into a 350 degree preheated oven for 60-65 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.
Bourbon sauce
• 1 1/2 C sugar
• 3/4 C butter
• 3/4 C light corn syrup
Combine in a saucepan and stir over low heat. Bring to 180 degrees or until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and stir in 1/4 C bourbon (or vanilla extract, not imitation). Stir until well mixed and pour over the bread pudding.
