What is your involvement in agriculture? 

“I have been a member of the White Hall FFA Chapter and Livestock Show Team for the past four years. I currently hold the sentinel officer position. I have shown chickens for four years, and raised and shown lambs for two years. I don’t live on a farm, but I am required to be in the barn daily to care for and work with my livestock.”

What is your favorite part of being involved in agriculture?

“The learning of animals and importance of raising awareness of the importance of farming and agriculture in America. I also love learning vetting skills that are required with owning livestock. I also enjoy community involvement, fund raisers for other local  organizations. 

What are your future plans?

“I plan to become a livestock veterinarian or a registered nurse.”

Awards: Farm Bureau Ag Student of the Month for Jefferson County, Elanco Veterinary Medical Certification and various other FFA awards.
