• 1/2 C butter

• 2 C white sugar

• 1 tsp vanilla extract

• 4 large eggs

• 1/4 C evaporated milk

• 1 Tbsp cornmeal

• 1 Tbsp distilled white vinegar

• 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Mix butter, sugar, and vanilla together in a large bowl. Mix in eggs, then stir in evaporated milk, cornmeal, and vinegar until smooth. Pour into pie shell. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 300 degrees and continue to bake for 40 minutes. Let cool before cutting.
