• 1 C sugar
• 1 C corn syrup
• 1/2 C water
• 2 Tbsp butter/oleo
• 2 C raw peanuts
• 2 tsp baking soda
Boil first three ingredients, stirring until it spins a thread about 3-inches long. Add the butter and peanuts, cooking and stirring until it turns an amber color. Watch closely as it burns easily. When it is the right color, quickly stir in the baking soda. Spread on a buttered pan and let cool before breaking up into pieces.
