• 2 pounds beef stew meat

• 3 medium celery ribs, sliced

• 1 1/2 C baby carrots, whole

• 1 medium red onion, sliced

• 5 baby red potatoes, sliced

• 1 tsp ground black pepper

• 1 tsp garlic salt

• 1 tsp garlic powder

• 1 tsp oregano

• 1 tsp salt

• 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

• 32 ounces beef broth

• 6 ounces tomato paste

• 1/4 C all-purpose flour

• 1/4 C water

Combine beef, celery, carrots, red onion, potatoes, pepper, garlic salt, garlic powder, oregano, salt, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth and tomato paste in the crock pot. Set crock pot to high for 6 hours, or low for 10 hours. Simmer all day, stirring occasionally. About 20 minutes before serving, mix the flour and the water together in a small dish, and pour into the crockpot, stirring to incorporate to thicken stew. Can add frozen peas and/or corn at this time, if desired.
