• 2 C unsifted flour
• 2 packages of active dry yeast
• 1 C milk
• 2/3 C water
• 1 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 C sugar
• 1/4 C butter
• 2 eggs
• 5-6 C unsifted flour (to work dough)
Add yeast to 2 C flour. Heat milk, water, salt sugar and butter until sugar dissolves, then add eggs. Cool to lukewarm, add flour and yeast mixture. Beat in mixture until well blended. Beat with mixer until you have added 5 to 6 C flour. Let rise until double in size. Knead about 10 to 12 times, then make into rolls and allow it to rise again. Bake at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes.
