OFN Staff Favorite

• 1 C sugar

• 1 tsp salt

• 1 ounce unsweetened chocolate

• 3 egg yokes, beaten

• 3 tsp vanilla

• 1/3 C corn starch

• 3 C milk

• 1/3 peanut butter

• 1 Tbsp butter

• 1 baked pie shell or 

graham cracker crust 

In a sauce pan, mix together sugar, corn starch and salt Add milk and teat on medium heat, stirring constantly. Add chocolate and peanut butter. Bring to a boil, boil for one minute. Pour half of the mixture into the beaten egg yokes, then add the egg and chocolate mixture back to the pan. Cook for one minute, then remove from head and add butter and vanilla. Pour into the prepared pie shell or crust. All to cool. Can be topped with meringue or with whipped topping.
