Cake:

• 1 box yellow cake mix

• 4 eggs

• 1/2 C softened butter

• 1 C water

• 1/2 C creamy peanut butter

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Lightly grease a 9-by-13 baking pan and set aside. Using an electric mixer, cream the butter and peanut butter until well incorporated. Add eggs, cake mix and water, beat on medium for 2 minutes. Pour into greased baking dish and bake for 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely before frosting.

Icing:

• 3 C confectioners’ sugar

• 1/2 C creamy peanut butter

• 1/2 C softened butter

• 2 Tbsp milk (more may be needed)

• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Cream butter and peanut butter until well blended. Add confectioners’ sugar, vanilla and start with 2 Tbsp of milk. Continue to mix until the icing is nice and fluffy. You may need an additional tablespoon (or more) of milk if the icing is too thick.
