OFN Staff Favorite

• 3 packages cream cheese

• 2 Tbsp grated onion

• 1/2 tsp dry mustard

• 4 or 5 drops of red pepper sauce

• 4 C shredded cheddar cheese (16 ounces)

• 1/2 tsp paprika

• 1/2 C chopped fresh parsley

• 1/4 C finely chopped walnuts 

• Assorted crackers

Beat cream cheese, onion, mustard and pepper sauce in a large bowl. Divide mixture in half. Mix cheddar cheese and paprika into one half. Cover each half and refrigerate until firm enough to shape. Place mixture on a cookie sheet and shape each half into a ball, cone or wreath. Cover and an refrigerate until firm. Press parsley into cheese balls. Press walnuts into cheese balls. Refrigerate until serving.
