• 1 rack of pork baby back ribs
• Juice of one lemon
• 1/4 C dry rub (see recipe)
• 1/2 C favorite barbecue sauce
Dry Rub Recipe:
• 1/4 C brown sugar
• 2 tsp chili powder
• 2 tsp sweet paprika
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp dry mustard
• 1/2 tsp garlic powder
• 1/2 tsp onion powder
• 1/4 tsp ground pepper
(Excess can be stored in an air-tight container)
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Remove excess fat from meat. Rub ribs with lemon juice all over. Coat with dry rub. Place meat side down in large baking pan. Cover tightly with foil, shiny side out. Bake 2 1/2 hours. Remove from oven and drain off excess liquid. Brush barbecue sauce over all sides. Set oven to broil and return ribs to middle rack. Broil 5 minutes each side, turning and basting with barbecue sauce.
