Ingredients:
• 1 C brown sugar
• 1 C sugar
• 1/2 C milk
• 1 Tbsp butter
• 2 C chopped walnuts
• 1 tsp vanilla
• Speck of salt
Directions: Mix sugars, milk and salt in a heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook until it forms a soft ball (about 238 degrees). Remove from heat and add butter. Let stand until the mixture reaches 110 degrees. Add nuts, vanilla and salt. Beat until stiff. Pour into a buttered pan and chill for about two hours. Cut into squares before serving.
