Ingredients:
• 1/2 pound ground beef, browned
• 1/2 C chopped onion
• 3/4 C chopped carrots
• 3/4 C shopped celery
• 4 C cubed potatoes
• 3 C chicken broth or water with 3 chicken bouillon cubes
• 1 tsp basil
• 1 tsp parsley
• 3/4 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp pepper
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and cook until the vegetables are soft.
WHITE SAUCE
Ingredients:
• 1/4 C butter
• 1/4 C flour
• 1 1/2 C milk
• 1/2 pound white American cheese
Directions:
Combine all ingredients, except cheese, to create a sauce. Once combined, add to vegetables. Bring to a boil and cook for a couple of minutes. Before serving, add the American cheese.
