• 2 pounds lean ground beef

• 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed mushroom soup

• 1 can (10 3/4 ounce) condensed cheddar cheese soup

• 1 package (20 ounces) frozen French fried potatoes


In a large skillet, cook ground beef (a pound at a time), until brown. Drain fat and place cooked beef in an ungreased 3-quart rectangular baking dish. In a bowl, stir together the soups. Spread soups over meat in baking dish, top with French fried potatoes. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes or until potatoes are golden. If desired, serve with catsup, prickles, mustard or chopped tomatoes.
