Ingredients:

2 1/4 C. all-purpose flour

2 tsp. baking soda

1/4 tsp. salt

1 C. shortening

1 C. creamy peanut butter

1 C. brown sugar

1/2 C. sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat all ingredients until they are well blended. Roll into 1-inch balls then place on a cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork to form a crisscross pattern. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
