1 large can of pumpkin

4 eggs

1 can evaporated milk

1 1/2 C sugar

4 tsp pumpkin pie spice

1 box yellow cake mix

1 C melted butter

1 C chopped pecans or walnuts


Combine pumpkin, eggs, milk, sugar and pie spice. Spread mixture into ungreased 9-by-13 cake pan. Sprinkle cake mix over the mixture (do not stir). Drizzle butter over the cake mix. Sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts on top. Bake at 350 degrees for an hour. Do not over bake; it will be soft.
