Ingredients:

6 C peaches, peeled and sliced

1 1/2 C sugar

3 Tbsp flour

1 stick melted butter

Crust:

2 C plain flour

1/2 C buttermilk (may need a little more)

1/4 tsp baking powder

1/2 C shortening

Directions:

Mix peaches, sugar and flour for the filling and let set while making crust. Mix crust ingredients well and pat into oblong baking dish. Add melted butter to filling and stir. Pour filling into crust. Pat out remaining crust and put on top of filling. Bake  at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes or until brown.
