INGREDIENTS:
3 pounds chopped
cabbage, green and red
1/2 pound chopped bacon
2 C water (more if needed)
1/3 C apple cider vinegar
1/4 C water plus 2 Tbsp water
DIRECTIONS:
Boil, chopped cabbage, bacon, vinegar and 2 C water for three hours, more or less. Whisk water with small amount of flour and add to cabbage, simmer until thick. Add salt and pepper, as well as apple cider vinegar to taste.
