4 to 6 cube steaks (tenderized round steak)
2 C flour
1/2 tsp pepper
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs well mixed with 1 1/2 C milk
Dip steaks in flour mixture, then in milk bath, and then once again in the flour mixture. Deep fat fry at 350 degress until the steaks float, flipping once during cooking.
Gravy: Cover the bottom of a skillet with oil and add the left-over flour. Heat and stir until lightly browned. Add 3 cups of milk and whisk vigorously until thickened. Then thin with additional milk to desired consistency. Add salt and pepper to taste.
