How are you involved in agriculture and what are some of your accomplishments?
“I raise Boer goats for show and Angus crossbred heifers. I am the 4-H state president, and I was inducted into the 4-H Hall of Fame in June because of my leadership, community service and project work,” said Dustin. “I have also received the FFA Star State Farmer Award for my work in swine production and diversified livestock,” Dustin added.
Who are your role models?
“My role models are my family, my mom, dad, sister and grandparents,” said Dustin.
What are your future plans?
“After graduation I hope to work at a live production poultry company as a service tech and become a grow out manager in the future,” said Dustin.
What is your favorite thing about being in agriculture?
“I enjoy helping the people in my community and leading the 4-H to a successful year. I also just enjoy being on the farm, it’s relaxing. After I come home from school I enjoy being around the animals,” said Dustin.
