How does your farm background make you a better store manager?
“Being raised on a farm, you learn how to do everything. You learn how to fix things that are broken. Having done all of these things allows me to answer questions that my customers come in with.”
How do you find the time to get everything done?
“With the help of my wife, Joy. Without her, I’d be in serious trouble. In addition, my 14 employees make my job easy. The men and women of Miller Hardware are all long time employees and have areas that they are all good in. I trust my staff completely.”
What do you like best about your job?
“I like the people, solving their problems and earning their trust. The different types of problems people come in with keep the job interesting every day. I appreciate the opportunity this job gives me to provide the community with a hardware store of this type.”
