History of the business: My passion for tractors and farm equipment started when I was very young and got my first toy farm set. I took apart all the implements, learned how they worked, then fixed or modified them. I then started helping my parents and grandparents on their farms, especially during hay season. I got a lot of hands-on experience in breaking and fixing equipment, and doing what was needed to get the job done. I worked as a mechanic with a local equipment dealer for six years. My wife and I now have our own farm and equipment and have noticed the need for a more cost-effective repair option for local farmers. We started helping family and friends with their repairs. As word spread, business grew, and we officially started Agri Fix in 2024.
What are the products and services offered? At Agri Fix, we strive to offer our customers honest, fair, and affordable equipment repair. We work on a variety of tractors, hay equipment, miscellaneous farm equipment, skid steers, and light construction equipment. We are willing to tackle most years, makes, and models of equipment. Our specialty is in-shop repairs, believing that the in-shop repair will be more affordable and higher quality than an in-field repair. However, we do have a service truck and can make emergency service call repairs when in-shop is not an option.
What are some of the most popular products and/or services offered? Our most popular service is tractor and hay equipment repair. I have to admit I’m a bit of a tractor nerd. I’ve always enjoyed hay season and working on hay equipment. It’s a great feeling to kick that first bale of hay out of the baler after a repair, or to fire up a tractor after having it in pieces.
Future plans: Our goal for the future is to continue to develop and build customer relationships as we serve our fellow farmers and grow our business. Our hope is that what we build, we can one day pass on to our children. We thank God for our many blessings and our families, friends, and customers for their support.
Business philosophy: Two thoughts come to mind when we think about how we want to run our business. “Do unto others as you would have others do unto you,” and “If you don’t have time to do it right, you don’t have time to do it at all.” We strive to apply both of these in our business, and provide the most honest, fair, and affordable service possible.
