Ingredients:
Apples (enough to fill crock pot), peeled, cored, and chopped
4 C sugar
4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp salt
Directions:
Fill crock pot with chopped apples. Drizzle sugar, cinnamon and cloves over apples. Cover and cook on high for one hour. Lower heat and cook all day. Stir occasionally. Cook until thick. Once apple butter is cool, put into jars and freeze.
