The State Milk Board, in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Agriculture and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, announced today that the plant permit for Shatto Dairy of Osborn has been reinstated. The business requested reinstatement Tuesday morning.

Test results received today, Aug. 14, indicate that levels of residual phosphatase, an indicator of pasteurization, are within the standard for Grade “A” pasteurized milk. As a result, the permit was reinstated by Missouri’s State Milk Board.

Consumers who may have products included in last week’s voluntary recall of Shatto Dairy products should discard those products or return them to their point of purchase. A list of those products is available online at mda.mo.gov.
