What is your involvement in agriculture? I have always been involved in agriculture since I was young. I started showing Mini Hereford steers in 2014 when I was 5 years old, and now I show Shorthorn cattle. I focus heavily on breeding and raising all of my show cattle so I can put them back into my herd. My family runs a cow/calf operation focused on replacement females and I am in the process of beginning my own Shorthorn herd.

What is your favorite part of being involved in agriculture? My favorite part of being involved in agriculture is getting to watch the production cycle in my cow/calf operation. I enjoy mating my cows and getting to see the offspring that has resulted due to my mating. The agriculture industry has also allowed me to meet many new people and gain some of my best friendships.

What are your future plans? After graduating high school, I want to go to Oklahoma State University in Stillwater for pre-law for a few years. Then I plan on transferring to Texas Tech University to major in Agriculture Law.
